At her celebration many people, from all walks of life, shared stories of how her life had impacted them for the Kingdom. Many said they were better off because of knowing her. Many shared how she led them to the Lord; some in the most unlikely places such as Sturgis. But she lived and talked in such a way that people wanted what she had!
As I sat and listened to the stories, I wondered how my own life is being perceived. How do I come across? Am I bold and contagious for the Lord? Am I available to the Lord to use me to help guide others to the Savior? Do people want what I have? I asked the Lord to use me in such a way that my life would draw people to Him.
You see, God wants to use each one of us to draw others to Him. He has orchestrated "God moments" throughout our day;giving us an opportunity to share with others, love on others, or give to them. But we all too often miss these opportunities. We are so busy about our own agenda that we miss these moments to share Him with a hurting world.
So today I want to challenge us all to live bold and live in a way that is contagious to those around us. That our lives will draw them to the Father. We will miss Melissa greatly but she would love to know that her life inspired others to live boldly for Jesus!
