"Elizabeth, fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Elizabeth, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
When God sees us, His children, He sees us individually. He doesn't look down from Heaven and clump us all together...He looks at each life separately and knows us intimately. I am His, and He is mine.
It's hard for us to understand the vastness of God and how He operates. His omniscience is beyond our reasoning. How can He know the count of every hair on my head? Even as it changes daily! How can He know when every sparrow falls to the ground? Does He really know my every thought? My every struggle? My every fear?
The answer is...yes, He does.
How? I don't know. But he does. He knows it all. He knows what you need and when you need it. He knows it for you and for every person on the planet. Unbelievable power, unrelenting love, unreal faithfulness.
If you have doubted this week that God knows, I hope this little blog encourages you to press in, choose to trust, know in your heart God is with you and is working on your behalf, even if you can't see it with your human eyes...yet.
We have been blessed with a God who wants to know us personally. He wants to engage with us, be intricately involved in every nuance of our life.
He knows your name today. "__________, fear not, for I am with you."
