I don't personally have the answer for your situation or my situation; nor do I know how things will work out for any of us but what I DO KNOW to be true is this:
- God loves you more than your mind can comprehend
- He has your best interest always in mind
- He can see the big picture
- We can ALWAYS trust His goodness
His Word is our guide, our love letter, our road map for any situation. Write these out and place your name in them and read them out loud over yourself and your situation.
Psalm 91:2 "I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Psalm 40:4 "Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord..."
Psalm 112:7 "They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord."
Philippians 4:4-8 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
You see, our mind is a huge battlefield for the enemy. This is where doubt and fear press in. This is where the enemy of our souls will, ever so subtly, try to feed us the lie that God's not big enough, that the situation is hopeless, or that life will never be OK again.
We must guard our minds and hearts against this type of thinking and use the Word as the tool or weapon that it is. Speak these words over yourself and your situation, write your name in them, carry them with you so that you can quickly take captive any negative thought. Soon the sweet peace of the Lord will fill your mind and heart and you will begin to trust Him fully.
Proverbs 4:23 states, "Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life."
Dear friend, I am praying for His sweet peace to come in to your mind and heart today and fills you with TRUST, a new hope, a new outlook, a new peace and joy that surpasses your circumstances. He's got this, He loves you, and He wants the very best for you!! Trust in that truth today!
